Great to good fishing today after a move or two and finding the fish. There were many periods where everyone was hooking up right away and then the next time down you had to work a little harder. We had blitzes, a steady pick and a few periods where it was quite, but action all day for the most part. Even I went down and caught a few.
The guys put together a great catch of bull haddock up to 14 pounds, along with cod up to 15 pounds. The 14 pound haddock is one of the biggest haddock we have ever caught. The guys fished hard and have bags of fillets to take home.
Day two tomorrow for the same group with hopefully the same results.
