Today was one of those days where there was not great bite at anytime, but just a pick throughout the entire day. Some drifts we had a good flurry or two and it looked like it was going to shape up and it never did. Most of the fish were market size with some large markets and a few throw-backs. The large cod from the day before never did show up.
With that said, we had guys fishing in the driving rain hard all day and taking no breaks and making it happen. We did almost reach our limit, but we were short by only 5 fish. Still, all in all the guys did manage to put together a great catch….it just took a lot of work.
A rainy nasty day it was, but not such a bad day of fishing.
